Jouko Kantola

Jouko “Jocke” Kantola, a pianist and a composer. A performing artist since the late 1970s. Performed with few of the leading finnish gospel groups such as Pro Fide, Christian-Charles de Plicque Duo, Jukka Leppilampi Co and Dad’sHello.
RePro meaning: Back to the row of real professionals; re-production of some of my olden golden compositions.

Has performed with Jim Beard, Randy Brecker, Jon Balke, Jukkis Uotila, Lars Danielsson, Anders Jormin, Ron McClure, Peter Erskine, Jesse Van Ruller and Finland’s UMO Jazz Orchestra. Yrjö award in 2010 (Finnish Jazz Federation). Founder member of Nassaun Fasaanit.
