Johanna Suvenmetsä

Johanna Suvenmetsä is a versatile flutist, poet, reciter, and artist. She graduated as a Master of Music from the Sibelius Academy in 2015, taught by Petri Alanko. For more than a decade, Suvenmetsä has regularly produced and organized concerts combining art music, poetry, spoken word, and improvisation. She has performed solo concerts in Finland as well as abroad, including in Germany and Italy.

Suvenmetsä has a broad range of experience from working in Finnish professional orchestras to producing concerts, poetry events, and festivals, as well as collaborating with artists across diverse disciplines. She is also an active chamber musician. Suvenmetsä has published two poetry collections as well as an album for the Pilfink label, featuring a guitarist and reciter.
