Marko Rutanen

Marko Rutanen begun his guitar studies at the School of Music in Jämsä under the guidance of Vesa Suominen. Later he studied in the University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki with Ilmari Hytönen and finished his studies with Kai Nieminen in Jyväskylä. He has given many concerts as a solo performer and as a chamber musician. He is also a founding member of Nordico Guitar Quartet. He currently teaches guitar at the School of Music in Jämsä.
